Chinitos Tacos
Chinitos Tacos was produced as part of the SELA (South East Los Angeles) Arts Festival hosted by California Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon. The festival is an outdoor showcase of the SELA arts community. It includes music performances, food vendors, art displays, children’s art classes, and amusement rides. Chinitos Tacos, located in Lakewood, CA, served as a vendor at the festival and shared their culinary expertise with those in attendance. The intended distribution was on the California Assembly Democratic Caucus YouTube page which has 2000k+ subscribers. Chinitos Tacos Owner, Beeline Krouch, used it for promotional purposes.
Gentle Riot
Gentle Riot is a world where we can celebrate and empower the girls on the outside. It’s a safe space, created for women whose existence creates disruption. This is for the Weird Girl. Gentle Riot is one G!RL doing whatever she wants so other G!RLS can do the same. Estefany Arias is the creator of the Gentle Riot clothing brand and one of the artists who participated in the SELA Arts Festival. This video was made for the SELA Arts Festival in partnership with the office of California Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, who hosted and sponsored the festival.
Bridgetown Roti
In Trinidad and Barbados, roti stands are as ubiquitous as Taco trucks are in LA. After slavery was abolished throughout the Caribbean in the late 19th century, Southern Indians were sent to island plantations where they introduced Paratha rotis to the region. With flavors that encompass the vivacity of the tropical islands, Chef Rashida has seamlessly woven the traditions and history of the Caribbean into her rendition of home style food. 31Kings produced this video in partnership with Spicy Green Book and Adhoc Story to provide pro bono video services to black owned restaurants adversely affected by the pandemic.
Long Beach Community College Spring 2020 Promo
The year 2020 posed challenges for organizations of all kinds and colleges weren’t exempt. More than ever, schools were responsible for the education and safety of their students. Schools across the nation instituted a practice of distance learning to make sure students could continue to pursue their education while staying safe. This video was used not only to promote the myriad course offerings at Long Beach Community College but to ensure that students and families were aware that every precaution was being taken to secure the safety of the LBCC community.
Stay at Home Details to Fight COVID-19
2020 was meant to be the year of perfect vision but for many it brought on unimaginable challenges. In an effort to get the most accurate and up to date information to the people of California, the California State Assembly produced a series of short videos updating constituents on the latest COVID-19 details. We were privileged to work with the State Assembly to produce and edit this video regarding exceptions to the stay-at-home order.
